Serial N°: 280
Description:

This is a Mini CNC with stepper motors and a small spindle motor. It's suited for small jobs as it has a tiny working area. There are no limit switches yet (as of Sept 2018) but it appears that the motor controller board has spots to add them. We will be adding additional documentation as we learn more about this machine. It's mostly suited to wood (that's what the two included bits are for), but the seller said it can also do small bits of aluminum too. Includes to power supplies (assuming one for motors, another for control). If you are familiar with CNC machines, perhaps you can help us with the documentation, or even assist with improvements (adding limit switches etc), or recommend software for it. ONLY REQUEST THIS ITEM IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH THIS TOOL AND HOW TO USE IT SAFELY. ALWAYS PRACTICE SAFETY: WEAR EYE PROTECTION, AVOID LOOSE CLOTHING, AND STAY CLEAR OF MOVING PARTS. ALWAYS UNPLUG THIS ITEM FROM THE WALL WHEN NOT IN USE. BY ACCEPTING THIS TOOL YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU WILL USE IT ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK, AND THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AND THOSE AROUND YOU.

To manufacture small creations.

Well? Go on, talk about it

Hey alan! I have some xp with diy cnc stuff. Don't need to borrow the mill but I would be happy to help with documentation and getting it up and running if you need a hand.

That's great to hear. Another user (they're in our facebook group) has it at the moment, but it'd be great to put you in touch, and together we can get some documentation going for it.
